Merlini Architecture Studio was born in the early seventies, a period in which the owner of the studio, who had already expressed his intimate life with painting and sculpture, found in architecture the completion of a new artistic perspective. From the design to the construction of architectural works ranging from residential to public and from commercial to office buildings, the focus is always placed on the link between what is original and anthropic: the relationship between man and space for transform the natural environment

and approach the beauty by giving use a great value. In this architecture studio in Verona, design ideas come to life that manifest themselves in the first time, advanced techniques that anticipate future performance but also the quality of handcrafted products: IT systems such as "Building Information Modeling" and "Rapid Prototyping" but also materials that maintain a relationship between nature and construction, between open spaces and closed spaces in a union that "guarantees" innovation and values, art and culture.

Graduated from the I.U.A.V. of Venice in 1977, founder of the studio, he began his free profession in the same year. Lucio Merlini has acquired great experience over the years and has achieved prestigious collaborations with great contemporary architects, such as Carlo Scarpa and Aldo Rossi. With his projects he has characterized the modern architecture of his territory, he has developed and implemented architectural and urban planning projects of considerable complexity and size. Lucio Merlini has creative flair and knows how to combine functionality and design form.

However, his artistic expression has always been understood: the search for expressive autonomy is linked to the use of color and the search for a spatial balance that is linked to the world of communication.

Merlini Design was born from my desire to bring art into architecture. The curved line is the perfect shape.

Marco Merlini

Marco Merlini produces technical and architectural drawings, documents and drawings using computer systems and software. He deals of planning and design, providing for the specification of the necessary steps and materials. Marco is competent in several professional areas, including drawing, the information technology necessary for architecture, architectural standards, urban planning and civil engineering. He specialized in rendering both exteriors and interiors, indispensable for the designer to present the idea and the finished project.

Lorenzo Gullotta
Architect.

Born in Verona in 1989, graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Milan Polytechnic, he has collaborated with Studio Merlini since his internship for the Master's Degree in 2015.
With the architect Merlini, he develops a particular interest in architecture and restoration which allows the reuse of buildings of great historical value.
Lorenzo has developed great experience over the years which today works actively in the elaboration of construction or restoration projects, in monitoring the works, in maintaining relations with the competent administrations and in elaborating the necessary building practices.
Lorenzo deals with assistance in the design of civil buildings from the initial phase to the realization, providing the necessary supports for understanding the project through the use of 3D software and graphics.

Sara Bertoletti
Junior Architect.

Born in Bussolengo (VR) in 1985, Sara obtained a three-year degree in "Science of Architecture" at the I.U.A.V. University. of Venice in 2008.

After 8 years of experience in other architectural studios, she joins the team of Merlini Architecture Studio mainly dealing of architectural drawings in support of the Architect Merlini.
Sara also deal with the management of building practices by preparing the necessary documentation for presentation to the competent administrations.

Sonia Granuzzo
Personal Assistant.

Sonia is a point of reference for Merlini Achitecture Studio for many years, she takes care of communication with both customers and suppliers, secretarial management and accounting administration, correspondence, relations with staff and appointment management.
